Pavement severely obstructed in Brendon Close/Bridgewater Drive

The pavement is severely obstructed by an overgrown hedge of spiky growth, making progress for even one pedestrian so unpleasant that stepping into the road is the safest option.

Thank you for your enquiry. A letter has been sent to the relevant homeowner requesting that the overhanging vegetation is cut back. A revisit will be carried out 14 days after the receipt of the letter.

No action has been taken to remove any of the overhanging foliage which still severely obstructs the pavement.
In addition, after the recent very heavy rains in trying to walk past the obstruction while remaining safely on the pavement, you became soaked through.
This situation will only become worse and more dangerous during the autumn and winter months. The obstruction must be removed.
