Over grown vegetation

The footpath between Ash Grove and the High Street is very overgrown and residents are complaining that brambles are at eye level of toddlers in buggies so it really needs cut back urgently.

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the vegetation on the pathways adjacent to Ash Grove; specifically that you feel it is overgrown, restricts accessibility of the footpath and poses a safety risk to pedestrians. We appreciate your concerns and can confirm the growth of the vegetation is programmed to be cut back, in the next six months, under our maintenance programme; however, work is usually being carried out well within this time. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
