600mm x 300mm x 130mm deep pothole under bridge in middle of road and difficult to spot. Have severely damaged my car.

I hit this pot hole whilst trying to avoid poor road surface on near side of car causing wheel and screen damage. Am having damage assessed before making a claim.

We understand that you have concerns about the condition of this section of Farndon Road; specifically, that you feel there is a large pothole that may be a risk to all road users and has damaged your vehicle. We appreciate your concerns and have carried out an assessment of the issue and are pleased to confirm that the carriageway defects, that meet the specifications for remedial work that you have indicated in this location, has a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed by the 26th of October; however, we are working to bring this date forward as soon as possible. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
