6 Massive Potholes At The Junction Of The B4037 And The A45
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 18:31, Wednesday 30 June 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2830331.
There are 6 potholes, ranging in diameter of 6 - 12 inches and they are 2-3 inches deep going across both carriageways of the B4037, near the A45 junction. They have been there for several months and they are getting worse. Eventhough there is a new authority with statutory responsibility for the highways of Northamptonshire, it's responsiveness to road maintenance seems to be the same as that held by the previous authority and that is lack of action. It's time these potholes these were permanently fixed with a strip of tarmac covering the entire length of the road mouth and not the usual tatty piece of tarmac that is rammed in, which then disintegrates in a few weeks time.
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.
