The pathway is between Drayton Road and highfield road and is a main walk through up into Town. This has been an issue for many years but in recent weeks the trees are now collapsing. The narrow path has overgrown hedges/bushes. And a tree that is only help up by weeds is collapsing. You have to duck to walk through and you cannot see up the path to see if anyone is coming. It is also barely wide enough to push a pushchair or wheelchair through the leaning and overgrown bushes and trees.

This walkway represents a danger to the elderly, those with limited vision and mobility scooter users. It is a handy cut through for the aforementioned and others who reside in the vicinity. Urgent attention is required such that people can use this path unimpeded. Upcoming thunderstorms will add to the unstable nature of these branches and potentially cause injuries to unsuspecting pedestrians.

This footpath is completely overgrown and as the main route to the infant and junior school even my 10 year old son has to duck to walk through so he does not hit his head, this would also be a health and safety issue as due to the vegetation the street light will not light the area at night and this could cause a head injury or cause someone to loose an eye, this matter needs addressing as a matter of urgency foe everyone's safety and to reduce litigation risk against the council
