Pot holes the length of Main Street Badby.
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 09:28, Mon 5 July 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2840897.
The potholes along this road are a continuing source of danger as cars attempt to avoid them as they drive along what is essentially a single track road. It seems odd that a hardly used road between Badby and Catesby (Catesby Lane) has been skilfully repaired for the occasional traffic, cyclists and pedestrians who use it but the MAIN ROAD through the village of BADBY is ignored apart from the few potholes that have been repaired. This has been an issue for at least a year now.

This pothole is located on Bunkers Hill NN11 3AW outside the bungalow called “Hillcrest”. It has been left unrepaired on this area of unlit single track road for over two years . Last evening I was walking along the road and turned my ankle in the hole which could have caused serious injury. Bunkers Hill is a main access road into the village used by pedestrians, motorists and cyclists. This steep sided pothole holds water is a constant danger. There are further potholes on Bunkers Hill leading down into village requiring urgent attention and evidence of the road edge breaking up on the same road leading to the outside the house called “White Feather”. I request that urgent repairs are carried out.
