Large and deep pothole in Newton Road. outside library
Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category by Terry Savage at 11:53, Mon 5 July 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2841506.
You sent me an email to say the this hole had been fixed, but unfortunately it was not. However you did fix a couple of small potholes in Newton Road, but along the road near the junction with Howard Road. Why was this not done at the same time? Surely if you are fixing holes in a street/area then it is common sense to fix ALL the faults in that area, rather than have to make multiple visits?

This fault is still not repaired and is well past your within 28 days timeframe. I have stated before that is in one of the busiest streets in the village as outside the Co-op, library and Chinese. It is also getting deeper with every day that passes and so your urgent attention would be appreciated.

Thank you for fixing footpath hole (2965892), pothole in High Street (2732597 - at last) and repairing road at the end of Poplar Place in Wollaston recently. However this is by far the worst pothole in the village, situated in a busy road and at well over a month since you said you would fix? It is now about the size of a dinner plate and 3/4 inches deep. Why you cannot send a team into a village/area and carry out the repair of most of the faults you have marked on the map baffles me. It must be a waste of time and resources to do a few and then leave the rest? Many residents have complained to me about this hole and some regarding potential damage to their vehicles?
