The nene way between wellingborough and higham ferris overgrown particularly between ditchford bridge and higham ferris between wellingborough and ditchford bridge some parts are unpassable but you can walk near it unfortunately you come to a fence there are no signs and you can walk in boggy areas after ditchford the path is actually unpassable unless you are prepared to be stung on your face and arms by nettles and brambles I walked this last year with no problems at all the walk is completely different this yearWith often no divined path at all and dangerous underfoot conditions

Thank you for your enquiry. A site visit has been carried out and I can confirm that works have been instructed for some remedial clearance works to be carried out within the next 28 days. However, we are receiving a high number of enquiries relating to overgrown vegetation at this present time which is causing some delays to our works schedule.
