Overgrown vegetation which is blocking the footpath.

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2853366.

Walking outside 42 and 44 Marlow Road, Towcester. Very overgrown on the footpaths also discarded masks and other litter all along the road!

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the vegetation on this section of the footpath adjacent to Marlow Road; specifically that you feel it is overgrown and could be hazardous and obstructive for pedestrians. We appreciate your concerns and can confirm that a works order has been raised to cut this back. This should be completed in the next six months; hopefully much sooner. We have also noted that there is quite a lot of litter in the area. We have passed this on to the relevant department to get a cleaning team to go out and attend.
