Tree totally blocking view of on coming traffic

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2878439.

The usual tree has grown to the point where it totally overhangs the road. You cannot see traffic until you are under it. We are getting accidents on the road as a result. Tonight there was an injury RTC .The ambulance was leaving as I turned off the A6 on Blues. This isn't the 1st one this year. We either need the overhang cutting back or the road making one-way (A6 to Station Rd). I use the A6 returning as Addington Road is too dangerous at peak times.

We appreciate your concerns and can confirm that the level of the trees will be raised above the carriageway, in the next six months, under our maintenance programme.
