Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2879267.
The path is blocked by waist high nettles and other plants. The hedge row has not been cut back in so long people have to lean to one side or walk in the road to get by this section. Also the edges of the footpath are so overgrown that the visible width of the path is less than 6inches. This is a high traffic and high speed area please do something before someone is hurt.
Thank you for reporting a fault. We will use the information you have provided to assess and prioritise this fault in accordance with our published response times for fault reports.

Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the vegetation adjacent to Ecton Lane; specifically that you feel the vegetation is overgrown and restricts accessibility and visibility in the area. We appreciate your concerns and can confirm that the verges in this area have been cut under our maintenance programme. With regards to hedge and tree growth, this maintenance will most likely be carried out in October, as there are currently birds nesting in the vegetation there. Thank you for your patience and understanding.
