Painted roundabout barely visable
Reported via desktop in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 18:19, Thursday 22 July 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2884122.
I don’t live in Corby and was driving yesterday from Cottingham Road, Corby towards Station Road, Corby, and at the junction with High Street (Old Village) I very nearly hit a car dude on when she turned across my path. I hit the brakes and accident avoided. It was only today when I went back that I realised I was at fault as it’s a roundabout! There are street signs but the roundabout road markings are barely visible and it was the lack of these that made me think the road was one continuous road from Cottingham Road into Station Road. It needs urgent attention before an accident can’t be avoided.
