Speed camera not visible because of over grown trees

Reported via desktop in the Road Markings - Worn/Faded category anonymously at 10:12, Tuesday 27 July 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2893751.

The speed camera at the top of station road cannot be seen from the road. This warning camera/screen can no longer warn drivers that they are speeding and is therefore creating a dangerous situation. Please get these trees trimmed back ASAP before someone gets hurt.

  • This problem has not been fixed and is of course worse that when I reported. None of the other reported problems regarding overgrown trees and vegetation have been acted on either. All this talk about not cutting back vegetation because the birds are nesting. I think most birds nest in the spring. The speed camera may as well be removed and sold for scrap.

  • This problem has not been fixed. The reason for installing a speed warning electric sign was presumably to remind drivers that they are speeding. This is a problem on this road, drivers continually speed up this hill, some well over the 30 mph limit. They need to be reminded. So I guess this is why the electric speed warning sign was installed. Therefore this is a safety issue and needs to be sorted out now.
