Pavement surface breaking up

The pavement surface has been breaking up for some time and recent weather extremes have made things worse. It is now a significant tripping hazard, especially for older residents. These photos are from outside number 24 High St but there are similar problems elsewhere.

Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the footpath adjacent to High Street; that you feel that the surface is in poor condition and is breaking up. We are pleased to confirm that the footway defects, that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within a month’s time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
