Pedestrian Crossing Needed

Reported via desktop in the Safety Bollard - Damaged/Missing category anonymously at 11:50, Thursday 5 August 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2916123.

A crossing is in place with central reservation but is unsuitable, the road is narrow and angled, large vehicles use the road all of the time.

As a pedestrian crossing there is poor visibility and you can only cross half of the road at a time and still run the possibility of being hit by a vehicle due to how narrow it is.

Would it not be more sensible to have a crossing across a straighter piece of road where people can see you properly.
