Several pot holes over the whole surface

Reported via desktop in the Potholes / Highway Condition category anonymously at 19:05, Sat 7 August 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2921066.

These potholes have been here for many months and are made worse constantly by large lorries (council dust bin lorries, large food delivery vans etc. They never get repaired. Down now to the base level and even that is now getting broken up. There is no foot way so we have to walk on the road way, which is difficult for some pensioners who make up the population of this road. The bend in RectoryWalk

  • When might this dangerous road / foot way be addressed and some sort of repairs undertaken? Several of the OAP’s who live on the road are very nervous when walking to church. It is such a shame seeing these elderly people walking down the hill having to hold hands for balance. Thank you

  • The road/foot way is still awaiting to be repaired. Many have complained to the church parish council and were informed by them that you had it in hand and would be hopeful that it would be repaired shortly. But it appears that you are going to do nothing to make it safe for the pedestrians to walk down the 1 in 10 hill safely?

  • What has been done -NOTHING- just the same as when reported the very first time. It may not look much to the average eye, but when you are 60+ and unsteady on your feet walking down this Very steep broken up roadway/foot way is very uncomfortable. In the past we have had people taken to hospital having fallen over on the broken up road surface. For us residents the problem is STILL ongoing. Please do something.
