Two Blocked Drains 100 metres down Mill Lane
Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 10:36, Sunday 8 August 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2921628.
About 100 metres from the top of Mill Lane 2 drains in the lane are completely blocked, the drains should take water into the adjacent ditch. (A lot of water flows off Doddington Road into Mill Lane). Due to the blockage a greater volume of water runs all the way down the lane and on the steepest parts has caused erosion channels over 25 cm deep. This erosion is hazardous to vehicles and pedestrians. The drain I highlighted on the map is the closest to the location but not the actual drains in question.
