Thank you for your enquiry. With harvest now fast approaching it would not be practical to enforce the landowner to mark out this path. However the landowner will be contacted and reminded of their statutory responsibilities to ensure that all Rights of Way that cross their arable land are marked out on the ground and to remain marked all year round.

Field has now been ploughed and footpath still not marked over 14days after ploughing last year it was over grown with crops all year I reported beginning of year and nothing was done so the landowner is not listening to the council

Thank you for your enquiry, we are already aware of this matter. The landowner has been contacted and reminded of their statutory responsibilities to ensure that all Rights of Way that cross their arable land are kept clear (and marked out) within the next 14 days and to remain clearly accessible on the ground all year round.
