  • The 'clear visibility distance' of the nearside 40 mph sign is less than the 50 metre regulatory requirement.

It would help if the sign was placed on a straight section of road instead of a left hand bend where drivers are looking away from it to the right.

    Thanks very much

Could you please explain why you have closed this report ?

The nearside 40 mph sign does not comply with the regulatory 'clear visibility distance' of 50 metres.

    Thank you.

  • Hi there, I noticed the verges and central reservation have since been cut along this stretch of dual carriageway and the vegetation covering another 40 mph sign cut back but this 40 mph sign remains obscured which seems rather inefficient.

    Thanks very much

  • 7 months have now passed and this 40 mph sign still doesn't meet the legislative requirements. The offside sign is now facing the wrong way too.

  • Nearside 40 mph sign still obscured and the offside 40 mph sign is facing the wrong way. An update would be appreciated. Thanks very much
