The Bus stop is very old and over time you can see its been destroyed. It is full of graffiti and the glass/plastic panels are so scratched and covered you cannot see through them when I am pulling out of my drive making it very dangerous. Over time I have put up with it until today when pulling off my drive and someone driving past the bus stop as I pulled out because you cannot see the road unless you now pull In front of the bus stop and very nearly causing a huge crash. What it did do was cause the very angry man to jump out of his car and threatening me through the window and saying he is lucky he doesn’t smash my car up for pulling out on him. Bearing in mind I did not pull out on him but the only way for me to turn out of my drive and see what is coming from that direction is to go past the bus stop as you CANNOT see through the plastic/glass as shown in the pictures. The issue has been present for a very long time but I think it is time for it to be sorted otherwise there will be a bad accident in the future. Whether it means the bus stop is changed to not a shelter, I would rather it be replaced with a new shelter simply because people do use it quite a lot and would be a shame to take the shelter away but for health and safety reasons if this is the only option then so be it. It could be replaced with a simple bus stop sign or simply the glass panels could be replaced.
Thank you for taking time to read and I hope something can be done about this as it is a genuine health and safety risk.

Dear Connor, thank you for your email. I will find out who owns the shelter and look into what can be done to repair it and make it safe. Yours sincerely, David Chambers
