Damage to the barrier on the turning into Alchester Court

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 2976914.

A vehicle DG62 FXB has crashed into the barrier today causing the barrier to crumple.

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of a barrier on Alchester Court; specifically that you feel it has been collided in to. We have carried out an assessment of the problem and are pleased to confirm that the problem you have indicated in this location, has been made safe by setting up temporary barriers. Subsequently, a repair scheduled to fully resolve it. This should hopefully be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are completed.
