Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the vegetation on Upper King’s Avenue. Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the private landowner to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the landowner requesting that the vegetation is cut back from the footway within the next month. We will endeavour to revisit the site following the months’ notice period.
