Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns that the vegetation is encroaching onto the footpath on Ash Rise. Whilst we appreciate your comments, the location of the vegetation that you have identified is not on the adopted highway. Therefore, it is the responsibility of the private landowner to maintain and is outside Northamptonshire Highways’ control. Nevertheless, we have written to the landowner requesting that the vegetation is cut back from the footway within the next 14 days. We will endeavour to revisit the site following the two weeks’ notice period.
