Public Right Of Way
Reported via desktop in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 12:11, Thursday 16 September 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3005346.
Public Right of Way DG1 has been covered by earth. When the development started it created a boggy area near Cowpasture Spinney so walkers inevitably moved to higher ground to avoid the water logged area. This stretch has been covered by earth and now it not clear where the footpath should be The developer claims it is where all the vegetation has grown so they have done nothing wrong. Locals claim that this is pushing the footpath too far into Cowpasture Spinney so it has moved as it was originally further from the Spinney itself. The Parish Council requires confirmation of where the path is/should be to know whether it has been buried or it should be further into Cowpasture Spinney.
