Hedge obstructing footpath

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3009278.
Hedge overgrown covering over half of footpath cause if obstruction which results in pedestrians having to use grass verge next to road and if passing another pedestrian on the road. This is next to a busy roundabout so also causes poor visibility for vehicle drivers, and therefore additional danger to pedestrians . This hedge has not been trimmed this summer.

Thank you for your enquiry. The property owner will be contacted requesting the overgrown vegetation is cut back from the highway. This will be reinspected 14 days after contact has been made.
