Pedestrian path to the pedestrian crossing is overgrown
Reported via desktop in the Weeds category anonymously at 16:20, Sun 19 September 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3011348.
The path alongside the A6 from the public footpath to the pedestrian crossing before the roundabout is covered by bramble and weeds. It is hard to see when leaving the public footpath that there is a way from there to the safety of the light controlled crossing. This means that walkers wishing to go down the footpath at the side of what was the football stadium try to cross the A6 immediately. This is dangerous with the amount of traffic on the A6. The path needs to be cleared so that is obvious there is a safe route to the light controlled crossing.
