Traffic light timing

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3013722.
I would be grateful if someone could consider adjusting the timing of the traffic lights in thrapston at the junction of high st, oundle rd and huntington rd. at present, the lights are "green" for traffic approaching from the high street for a maximum of 7 or 8 seconds. this allows only three or four vehicles to pass through the junction before the lights turn back to “red”. at busy times this backs up traffic along the high street and, due to the cars parked at the side of the road, causes vehicles to queue in the middle of the road. this, in turn, causes problems for vehicles coming in the opposite direction. by contrast, the length of time the lights are “green” for vehicles approaching along the oundle road is considerably longer. this seems illogical as there is less traffic approaching from that direction and there are no vehicles parking on the road to cause an obstruction to those that do have to queue.
