Damaged WNC Fence at Risk of Causing Injury Behind 5 Trussell Road NN3 9NX

There is a fence that runs along a footpath behind the houses on Trussell Road and goes towards Pennycress Place which has been damaged. The residents believe the fence belongs to WNC. Part of the fence has been kicked down, showing 3" nails etc and could cause injury. The crime has been reported to the Police (crime no 21000547900) but the fence needs to be fixed / made secure.

We understand you have concerns about the condition of the footpath in this location; specifically that the fencing that runs alongside the footpath has been damaged. Following our inspector’s visit, we are pleased to confirm that the defects, that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them. This should be completed within 6 months’ time. On most occasions we are repairing defects of this nature sooner than this target date. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
