Boddington Road from the hump back bridge at the reservoir up to and including the entrances to Island Commercials and the other industrial sites is in a very poor state of repair. Vehicles have to weave in and out to avoid the worse potholes/defects. This is itself is dangerous when there is oncoming traffic.
This strip of road needs urgent reassessment and repair before an accident occurs

Incredibly hazardous to road users, all the way between Upper Boddington and Byfield, particularly near Island Commercials. Accident likely to occur if not fixed. Road not wide enough to avoid potholes when faced with oncoming traffic.

Although a number of larger defects have been repaired a number of smaller ones have not. However, the main danger is approximately 50m downhill West of the entrance to Island Commercials. The top layer of highway is missing over a large irregular shaped area. Although this is not deep, it is not something that you want to hit on a road where you can do 50mph by law. Local people know its there and still pull across the carriageway to avoid hitting it and potentially causing damage to tyres suspension and steering.

The defects previously reported were and remain a major hazard to road safety. My update on 9th February has been ignored. You cannot drive through these defects and have to go around them. It is extremely hazardous to Motorists, cyclists as well as motorcyclists. If traffic is coming down the hill, you have to slow to a crawl on a road which has a speed limit of 50mph to avoid serious damage to your vehicle. Look at the images and then come and inspect them yourself.
