Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3035317.
Please can 880 signs be installed on Oundle Road. This proposal was made to me by Matt Mumford of the Safer Roads Team following the attached survey that shows 90% of vehicles over 30mph and a whopping 65% over the NPCC enforcement threshold. The local police team are now enforcing with cameras on this road regularly. Also Matt O’Connel has requested “motorcycle trained officers will provide visible presence on these routes to provide enforcement and education to riders” here.

Unfortunately we cannot confirm a timescale at present, but we will progress this as quickly as resources permit.

Oundle Rd will be closed to through traffic for the next 2 weeks. This could be an ideal time to install the 880 signs as the high volume of speeding traffic will be absent for the duration.
