Signage Headroom Incorrect
Reported via desktop in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category by Benjamin P Wright at 08:54, Wed 6 October 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3044851.
Dear Sirs,
After reviewing inspection report for the structure it has come to my attention that the headroom signage is incorrect. The inspector has measured the headroom at 3.47m meaning signage show read 3.3m not 3.4m. 3.47 - 0.07 = 3.4 then subtract 0.1 = 3.3m
Please can you check and confirm headroom for this structure is correct and amend signage if required.
Regards Ben Wright - Assistant Asset Engineer Network Rail

Thank you for contacting Northamptonshire Highways. We have measured the headroom and it varies, especially where debris has built up along the edge of the carriageway. We will get the debris swept and then re-measure the headroom. If the measurements agree with your inspector’s measurements, we will amend the signed height.
