30mph Warning Sign (illuminated) as you come into the village from Daventry is not working

Reported via desktop in the Damaged / Missing / Facing Wrong Way category by Jacqueline Williams at 14:53, Tuesday 12 October 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3050621.

The large '30 mph' illuminated warning sign that signals to vehicles who are exceeding the speed limit when coming into Norton from Daventry is not working. It looks like foliage has grown around the sensor equipment on the top of the sign; could this be a contributory factor? This has now been reported a number of times. Note: this sign is separate from the other sign which is located behind the initial one and is funded by Norton Parish Council.
