The tree is having an impact on overhead lines. the Parish Council has received concerns from a local business close by regarding stray branches coming down and the impact of the branches on the overhead lines. Would be grateful for a cut back please. thank you.

Thank you for your enquiry. We understand you have concerns about the vegetation in this area; specifically you mention it is encroaching on the overhead lines. Whilst we appreciate your comments, there is no legal requirement to remove or even prune trees for the benefit of overhead cables. If the tree is growing very close to, through or affecting overhead lines you should contract the relevant utility company.
