Weeds growing out of control

The footpath between school Road and High Street to the side of the working mens club is overgrown with weeds and vegetation, it is becoming and eyesore and there is a trip hazard

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the condition of the hedge adjacent to The Avenue; specifically that you feel it is overgrown and encroaches on the road. We appreciate your concerns and can confirm the growth is programmed to be cut back, in the next six months, under our maintenance programme. Usually, we find these defects are tended to by 13 weeks.

  • Hi,

    Please read the original issue, it is not a hedge and I don't know where you are referring to, where is "The Avenue" ?? The next 6 months is too long, these are ground weeds by steps leading to the main road, someone will trip and fall leading to a severe injury if something is not done. This situation is a Near Miss and an accident waiting to happen
