Overgrown hedge obstructing public foot path

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3070986.

Number 76's hedge is so overgrown you have to cross the road in order to get past and on that bend is very dangerous and an accident waiting to happen. please could the occupiers be asked to cut this as for people in wheelchairs and those who have buggies this is a problem. the problem has been like this for weeks if not months and now the weather is getting wetter this is just promoting the growth.

  • Thank you for your enquiry. A letter has been sent to the relevant homeowner requesting that the overhanging vegetation is cut back. A revisit will be carried out 14 days after the receipt of the letter.

  • This problem still persists and is in fact getting worse. please could the home owners be either asked again or for further action to be taken.

  • The hedge is still overgrown onto footpath and at times a van will park so close the path is effectively closed to pedestrians.
