Raised ironwork

Reported via desktop in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 22:03, Mon 25 October 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3084422.

At the corner of Abington Avenue just passed the furniture shop I tripped on raised ironwork of a cover. I was thrown to the floor hurting and grazing left wrist, banged my head, left winded for several minutes unable to move. Fortunately a female passerby stopped with me until I was ready and managed to get up. I’ve taken a photograph of the cover and my injuries.

  • Adding to my report my wrist has swollen and the bruising has started, my right shoulder is painful and stiffing, my ribs (right side) and left arm are also painful. I had to take co-codamol last night and will again tonight. I’ve also had to book an appointment with my physio due to the pain and discomfort. I’ve attached a number of photos to show my injuries and the location.
