  • Without being attended to, the issue as deteriorated and become more dangerous, especially when temperatures are near zero. Spray from the pooling water is sprayed across the crossroads by traffic, which can freeze, creating a risk of ice.

  • Pathway and road were extremely dangerous yesterday and this morning due to spray that has frozen. This is a result from blocked drains (months now!) and the subsequent flooding that occurs. The area that floods is not as pin on this map but right outside drive entrance to 2 to 2c Stratford Road and opposite the bus shelter.

  • There are two roadside drains in this location, a short distance apart. One has been cleared and the second not cleared. The response stated that this drain is not the responsibility of WNC, but doesn't state who's responsible for it and whether WNC have engaged them to resolve the problem. When the weather turns colder and the surface water freezes, this will be very hazardous. Please help resolve this problem as it is very close to our village's Primary School.
