Outside 2 and 7 Sandy Lane, the drains remain covered with tarmac following resurfacing

Reported via desktop in the Blocked/Damaged category anonymously at 10:06, Wed 17 November 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3128366.

There is a drain outside number 2 and number 7 Sandy Lane. Sandy Lane was resurfaced approx 6 weeks ago and the drains were covered with tarmac. Approx. 2-3 weeks ago, all the drains on the road were uncovered except for the drains outside 2 and 7 Sandy Lane, and these are important drains because they are at the bottom of the hill, where surface water will run. Please can the drains outside number 2 and 7 Sandy Lane be uncovered?

  • Thank you for your enquiry. These last two gullies will be “uncovered” on Saturday 4th December 2021 under a road closure. Unfortunately they were unable to be done with the gullies further up the hill as they are too close to the A4500 junction.
