  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We have raised a works order to repair the defects that you have reported on the footpath adjacent to St. Mary’s Close. These works will be undertaken within the next 6 months. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded. Unfortunately, Northamptonshire Highways cannot undertake work on privately owned accesses, as this is not part of the adopted Highway.

  • Job 3140709 Is it possible for you to advise who the contractor is that you will allocate job too.

As the remainder of the tarmac apron in front of the garages which is owned by us also requires repair we would like to use same contractor and get them to do our part at the same time, we would be paying the contractor direct for this part Thank you Alan Milne Milne.alan@yahoo.co.uk 07906067817

  • Thank you for your further comments. The work on the footway on St Marys Close will be carried out by our Northamptonshire Highway operatives, who unfortunately are not permitted to undertake private work, under any circumstances. As such, you will need to source a contractor (Phoenix Paving, S and D, or PGR for example, although other contracts are available) to carry out privately owned access works. Apologies that we are unable to assist further with your enquiry.
