Dropped kerb too high.

Reported via mobile in the Obstruction (Not Vegetation) category anonymously at 16:13, Thursday 25 November 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3143907.

Because of pavement obstructions already reported mobility scooter and wheelchair users have to use the carriageway. Previous inspection has reported that dropped kerbs are in place either side of the obstruction. Unfortunately these kerbs are in sufficiently dropped. Current they average 30mm above the carriageway whereas government guidance states that “Kerb heights at pedestrian crossing points … should normally be flush with the carriageway but can range from 0 to +6mm
