Public footpath impassable because of brush placed across it
Reported via mobile in the Passage-Obstructed/Overgrown category anonymously at 10:36, Tue 30 November 2021
Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3151011.
First photo shows start of public footpath marking (entrance to Lee Dickens). Second photo shows the gap in the fence between Lee Dickens and the field beyond through which the right of way proceeds. Since yesterday morning (it was clear then) this has been wholly blocked by fallen or placed vegetation. It’s a popular walk for local people and a swift resolution would be really appreciated. Oddly, the footpath is not shown on the council map but is on the OS map for the area.

Viewed from the field side it is apparent that a tree previously standing about 50 metres away has been uprooted and dragged into position across the right of way using a tractor or similar equipment. It has a large rootball and cannot be dealt with using hand tools.
