I continue to be concerned with the tree and potential for injury and damage. The tree now sways with the wind and could cause significant damage, 4 years we have lived here and to date nothing significant has been done. I request again for the tree to be reduced and again those parts overhanging our property to be cut back.

Thank you for your enquiry and bringing this matter to our attention. Following your enquiry, we have arranged a thorough tree report from our Inspector. Any recommendations that are made in the report and meet our specifications will be subsequently acted upon accordingly. Please be assured we will update you within a month’s time once the inspection has been completed.

Thank you for your patience on this matter. We can confirm that the tree report concluded that no action is necessary at this time, there were no significant risk features observed that could compromise the structural stability of the tree. On this basis, no remedial works to address safety issues are considered necessary at this time. Please be assured that we will continue to monitor the area as part of our routine highway inspections.
