Leaves totally obscuring footpath with a very muddy section near the Lower Street Junction

Reported via desktop in the Restricted Visibility / Overgrown / Overhanging category by Dianne Panter at 14:54, Thu 2 December 2021

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3155638.

The footpath on the Braybrooke Road side of Rothwell Road from the Gold Street junction to Lower Street junction is almost obliterated due to fallen leaves. Once the icy weather appears it makes it more dangerous for pedestrians and wheelchair users to manoeuvre. The path on the opposite side of the road is usually cleared but this side is always overlooked. It addition, almost opposite the Lower Street junction, (near the high wall) there is a permanent water leak that has now become a muddy section of the footpath and makes it necessary to walk on the road as it also encroaches onto the grass verge. This is very difficult and muddy for pushchair and wheelchair users as well as pedestrians. Thank you for your assistance.
