This is the third time that I have reported this problem and the problem has not been rectified. This footway is in a dangerous condition in many places between the Slapton road junction and the village of Woodend. As can be seen on the photos the footway surface is broken up, uneven and falls away dramatically into the hedge in many places. That, along with the encroaching vegetation, means it is dangerous to walk along normally and impossible to use with push chairs or wheelchairs.

We are pleased to confirm that the footway defects, that meet the specifications for remedial work, have a repair scheduled to resolve them, we will be siding out the footway. This should be completed within six months’ time. Please be assured that you will receive an update once repairs are concluded.
