Outside of number 14 on the road the drains are blocked

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3199219.

We are the thatched cotteg on the right handside as you drive through the village in the 'dip'When we have rain you can see the drains are blocked as the water takes ages to disapate. Please could someone come and clear them, thank you

  • Thank you for your enquiry and for bringing this matter to our attention. We understand that you have concerns about the drainage in this area; specifically that you feel it is blocked and causing potential flooding issues. Whilst we appreciate and sympathise with your comments, we can confirm that there are no immediate safety concerns found during our recent inspection. This location has been inspected by our team and there was no standing water. However, please be assured that we will continue to monitor and should have a further update for you by the 10th of January.
