This bridge into The Spinney is becoming very slippery and it is dangerous for people to use safely. Please can a visit be made to make this bridge safe.

Thanks for reporting this a site visit has been made and we are currently still investigating to see what action can be taken to improve the conditions and hope to respond back to you within the next 2 weeks with what action is going to be taken

Please note that this report mislocates the ‘bridge’ in question. The bridge over the stream (the marked location) is not at issue. Concern is however raised about the ditch crossing made of sleepers on the upper, eastern, side of the Spinney, as the public footpath enters the field headed towards Brington. It is set at an angle and becomes slippery and potentially unsafe when wet.

Thank you for your enquiry, site visited after a period of rain. No safety defects found regarding the sleeper bridge over ditch or footbridge over stream in this location. Will continue to monitor through safety inspections.
