Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3222921.

Map not letting me pin point exact location but on junction of Hookhams Path and Irchester Road (opposite my marker on the map) the street sign 'Hookhams Path' has been knocked over by HGV trying to negotiate the junction during the week whilst Anglian Water works and traffic lights were in operation. Needs re-concreting back into the ground please. thank you.

  • This is as a result of an HGV (no details to hand of its identity) whilst it was negotiating the junction during AWA works on the junction of Irchester Road/ Hookhams path on Friday 7th Jan 22 the whole sign has been destroyed and a complete new sign will be required to be reinstated at the location as soon as possible . The sign as can be seen has been moved to a safer location to prevent any issues with pedestrian accessing the area and prevent slips trips or falls. Please reinstate as soon as possible. Many thanks cllr.a.threadgold1@gmail.com

  • The remains of this sign has been damaged further as the Hookhams part of the street name as been removed and found in the village, which I now have. The remains were also dragged into the middle of the road by someone during the night. Could these be removed pending a new sign to prevent a repeat of this please?
