Wrong type of sign displayed

Reported via desktop in the Sign/Waymarking - Damaged/Missing category anonymously at 15:33, Wed 12 January 2022

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3235734.

At the start of this byway (Near Cherry Tree Farm) there is a green footpath type sign that signs the way to Crockwell Farm. It does not point along the byway but towards Eydon. I assume it has been installed by the owners of Crockwell Farm. It most centainly should not be in the green and white of the public rights of way signs. A tourist sign sign must be brown and white. It is on the County road sign. It is confusing for users of the byway.
