  • I too noticed this, some are gigantic and really worried me when I hit one going full speed!

  • This pothole has now got much bigger and deeper. Travelling over it in the dark this morning at approx 7.05am caused a massive bang on the front end of my car. it has now severely damaged my OSF alloy wheel.

  • Driving along this carriageway yesterday afternoon (13:45hrs) my Son's front offside alloy wheel along with the tyre was severely damaged by series of potholes one of which was quite deep. He managed to make his way to a small garage for safety where he waited for a recovery vehicle to take his car to the home address. Whilst waiting two other vehicles came into the same garage with front offside wheel damage and punctures so this is a very dangerous situation for all road users.

  • Thank you for your enquiry regarding potholes on the road in this area. We are aware of the carriageway defects, and can confirm that those that meet the specifications have already been issued to be repaired within the next week. We have scheduled for traffic management for Monday 24th January in this location.
