Ash tree damaging private property

Sent to Northamptonshire Highways less than a minute later. ref: 3245703.

There is an ash tree on the back of 19 Langdon Close which damaging the garage (causing subsidence) it is also damaging the foot path on Drayton Way. this has been the case since August 2021

  • Thank you for your enquiry, concerning vegetation which you mention is damaging your property. With regards to your comments about damage to your property, we kindly advise that you would need to contact you household insurer, as we don’t undertake works to discount interference from a highway asset such as a tree. Should your insurers wish to contact our insurers, this can be done via any claim against Northamptonshire Highways for damages as a potential result of this issue. An insurance claim form can be request via highways.ncc@westnorthamptonshire.gov.uk.
